After many failed attempts at starting this blog, I finally got it up and running. *Sigh* That was an adventure to say the least. Anyway, moving on. I have a lot to show you as I have been busy these past couple of weeks.
Even though Christmas is Over, I like to show the Christmas Cards the kids and I made for our family. 36 of them. All hand Made. Yes, I'm nuts, and i could have probably saved money by buying a box, BUT, the memories I created with my kids are priceless.
So, without further delay, here is our combined creation:
First, I did the 3D Poinsettias. I used my CTMH - Art Philosophy Cartridge and cut out the flowers at 1, 1.5 and 2 inches. I sprayed them with water and used the pic to form them.

Once they were dry, I stacked them up in size order and added a little bit of gold glitter glue in the center. The leaf was added once it was set on the card.
Next, I cut everything else I needed to on my Cricut and set it out to start the assembly line.
I cut out the menagerie (sp?) from the Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge.
Since I wanted the Star of Bethlehem to stand out a little bit more and baby Jesus' crib to look more earthy, I dusted them with chalk.
I added some ribbon to the second layer of pattered paper for the card.
And assembled everything.
Next came the fun part. I grabed my son, and started to put his finger smudge...errrr.... print on the card to simbolize Mary and Joseph.
This isn't the finished card, In the ceneter was my baby's finger print as baby Jesus.
And that was our Christmas card.
Thanks for looking.
